TOMWARDFARM
Anyone know where in the Midlands you can buy Pellets in Bulk at good prices? Kind Regards
The Dogmother
When you say 'bulk', just how much are you looking to buy? The standard sack size is 20kg and has a best by date roughly 3 months from purchase, so unless you have an awful lot of chooks, you'd be hard pressed to get through that lot before it reaches it's best by date! Gallina
My eleven get through a 20kg sack every two weeks, and I have to ride it home on the back of a bicycle! That's over four miles if my local pet shop is out of stock. I would love a bulk free delivery of five or six sacks if anyone did it. Guest
Just to let you know for all that are in the midlands / warwickshire I have found pellets for £6.25 per sack Also finally found hemcore! Hi I asked my local ag merchants and they told me Hemcore had gone bankrupt but they were still getting supplies coming through(I heard that on here as well)..if you go back would you see what they say? I much prefer Hemcore than Aubiose. Hoping they got it wrong about hemcore? indie
The Dogmother
Sorry Indie, but they've definitely gone bust. There's still some stock around it's being sold off, once that has gone... none left
Guest
Sorry Indie, but they've definitely gone bust. There's still some stock around it's being sold off, once that has gone... none left Thanks perhaps I will stock up on it..the bags are really strong to store(the aubiose is fine to but the bags are thinner and split a bit more..) Mind you at the end of the day the horse beddings are a far cry from good old straw..that takes foreever and a day to rot down Thanks indie
