chooklady
I'm really sorry you are having a hard time How about other jobs that involve driving but that don't put you under the same pressure, something like meals on wheels, grocery home delivery (if you are strong!) or taking elderly or special needs people shopping? they are all things that can be done part time and give you a chance to interact with some interesting people Somethign like that would be a good idea I think, I'm feeling happier at the moment. I have 2 years to complete the course after the theory test and I did that back in March, time marches on!
HENthusiastic
Sounds like you need a big deep cry, followed by a big safe cuddle and finished off with a big scrumptious bar of chocolate.
AJuff
Hi, I've just caught up with your dilemma. I think if you feel the way you do you should just stop where you are. Regardless that the money is spent, not all of it and it would be a shame to throw more at it. Secondly I think you need to decide exactly what you want to do. Try volunteering and spend a week in the job before you decide. My sister was adamant she wanted to be an occupational therapist until she volunteered for a week!!! She was so glad she didn't start the training. I also think you need a work confidence boost. returning to work after years at home is very daunting, however there are lots of courses around to help. Good luck, we're all with you on this one. x
cathybc
please don't beat yourself up! when I am ready to give up on something, I promise myself I will keep going for another month. usually, before then, things have sorted themselves to at least become bearable. take some time and do what is best for YOU.x
