How to cure non-laying & softies

Recommended Posts

That happened to me with my light sussex batam. She had never layed an egg. I found lice on her. spayed her with someting that has egg withdrawal for seven days. Then she layed her first and second egg that week so I couldn't eat them. Then she hasn't layed anything since :wall::lol:

Did the yoghurt for a few days but she is laying again albeit outside the run under the hosta bush and its getting back to brown colour and feel of the others - just as big as the others too and yesterday I had for the second time in a week a 3 egg day - full house. Yahay that hen. Dont give up hope - I dont know what was wrong with her but obviously its cleared up whatever it was.

I also changed to ex batt food recently and am in the process of going over to it too and they have some pellets and some mash which they love dry.
