WarrensWorld
I'm not sure if this is common knowledge in Ireland, we only found out a few days ago. What we were told is all captive birds Chickens, Turkeys, Ducks, Geese also Pigeons, Exotic and Game birds. But not pet birds in domestic households. They must be registered with the Department of Agriculture & Food. whether or not you have 2 birds or 2000. After registration you will be issued with a flock number. This is a precautionary measure in the context of dealing with an outbreak of avian influenza. Apologies if I'm preaching to the converted. Patricia W
By Pet Birds - do you mean budgies etc? Can't you argue a couple of chickens are pet birds? Thank goodness we don't have this
