Can anyone give me the dimensions of a full bag of auboise please.

I need it as I am trying to sort out storage issues.

not sure but they are big, approx guess would be 3 foot long by 1 foot wide by 6 inches deep but that's a guess from memory. I can't lift a bale by myself.

 

DH always empties the bales into a plastic storage bin in the shed.

I "decant" some Aubiose into a trug to use to top up nest box and trays and then stack stuff ontop of the bale as mine is kept in a small shed too

 

That way I only have to move stuff on big clean out days

Could you section the bit of for the guneas but make it lower so you have a mezzanine for storage above?

I was thinking about that Tasha because it seems such a waste of space above them but I was worried it would make it too dark for the piggies if it was a wet day and they had to stay in. I think what we will do is put a shelf in the side that is the storage side but it won't be full sized as we can't get in lol. Or maybe a shelf along the back so it isn't completely covering the guineas.

 

Hmmm I am going to have to think about this more. Hopefully we will be putting it up on Sunday so maybe seeing it up in situ will help me.
