Grovefarm Posted November 1, 2006 Share Posted November 1, 2006 Hi all, I live on the oxfordshire/berkshire border near wallingford and have been offered some chickens to take on, I already have my eglu 2 so another 5 would be a bit much for us. If anybody was intersted would you be able to reply to this post as I may be offering 2-3 chickens to a good home. I'll update a bit later but im about to clock off and rush home! I might be interested in one or two if they haven't had a lot of opportunity to free range, but it would seem cruel to put them in an Eglu with run and two extensions if they have known a better life. Dont think they have done much free ranging, I've got a friend with a small holding who might want the extras but do let me know if you are interested too. Gallina Posted November 2, 2006 Share Posted November 2, 2006 These are all big girls. I already have two large hens (a Cochin and a Wyandotte) in the Eglu. Perhaps I should look for something smaller (or wait for the bigger Eglu). But if you have difficulty rehoming them, I could still be tempted.
