New alternative to omlet netting...

Recommended Posts

I bought this neeting and it's ok but not brilliant IMO, I am changing it to a solid wire fence. The dogs use the netting as an assault course the burrow under it..  I have pinned it down but they soon overcome that.

Now Cocoa the mad chook has been taught the trick and has taught Flo too!!! so they come into the main garden and the dogs go into theirs! it's no good, it has to go, it's only a matter ofg time before Dory, Pepsi and Bumble realise how to do it!

I always used tent pegs with the omlet netting anyway, all my chooks seem to be champion burrowers  , and luckily I don't have any dogs to use it as a training course :lol: .

I've got it to make a little enclosure around the new broody house OH has just bought me for my birthday, so as soon as my first girl gets stroppy I can start hatching some chicks :dance::dance::dance: .

you'll be fine it's pesky Suzie she teaches Jess how to go under which would be cute, but jess it much bigger and therefore pulls the netting, she'ss even got caught in it when the netting lodged in the decorations on her collar... she sat there looking all guilty waiting to be released..
