At Last! - Introducing Marley & Marcie!!! (with pics)

Recommended Posts

Well, we collected our new cat family on Sunday from the foster carer and all we can say is that they are an ABSOLUTE :D delight :D:D:P

So, without further ado, here they are:

Please welcome Marley & Marcie:

Marley is 5kg (12lb) and very lean and muscular. He is more reserved and is two and a half. Very friendly, he head butts to get attention 8) He has actually sat on our laps, enjoying the experience.

Marcie is 3.4kg (8lb) and petite. She is 14 months and is the tearaway. Although on the surface she would seem more nervy, she too is very friendly and the inquisitive & mischievious one. She will not be left out of anything & will barge in to get what she wants.

Both cats enjoy strokes and being picked up, although everything is too new for them to hang around long at present.

The downside is that they have to stay in a minimum of 2 weeks and as a consequence of their inquisitiveness we have to keep the windows closed ......and it's stifling down this neck of the woods!!!! They can also poo for Engaland... and in this heat :vom:

:D I sympathise, I've still got the 'new' cat on a litter tray and she is showing absolutely no desire to go out, however at least I can open the windows.

They are GORGEOUS, I have a real soft spot for tabbies anyway, but they look beautiful. I can imagine the excitement in the Fur'n'Feathers household tonight - I hope they will bring you lots of purrs and much happiness.

They're beautiful :D . Congratulations :D:clap: .

(Please tell me your house is brand new :? . Otherwise how is it so clean :lol: .)

 No it isn't. It was built in 1938 by a builder for himself. The house was much unloved when we moved in 7 years ago and we're gradually renovating it over a 10 year plan (ourselves doing the decorating :!: ). It looks clean because the walls in the photos are white. The carpet is "stainfree" (wonderful stuff :!: ) and the kitchen floor was laid in lino last year. What the photos don't show is that we need to dust & vacuum, but no chance at present (apparently, the floor colours we chose are good at hiding dust and crumbs 8) )
