iar fach goch
Had nearly given up hope that our new girls would ever lay, so was delighted when ES came in this morning with our usual two eggs pus what can only be described as a rather large mini egg, speckles and all! So imagine my surprise when OH came in after tucking them in for the night with a huge egg! First eggs aren't usually large are they, and this is the largest egg we've ever had from any of our girls! It looks different to the oldies eggs so presume it's from a newbie - guess where i'm going to be sat for the next few days trying to work out who did what! Ain't Nobody Here
Congratulations . If the first one's huge, just imagine what size subsequent ones will be .
TAJ
We had a lot of huge double yokers in the first few months - it is just as the egg laying gear gets sorted, now such giant eggs are few and far between. Tracy
