Without since I live in Scotland. I think I would like to start with a couple of Cochins. As soon as I get a delivery date I'll start phoning round breeders

Congratulations, I hope you didn't feel at all pressured...........but we are rather biased on here

 

I forgot to say that my Orpies are erratic to say the least about their laying,especially since one of their sisters went broody no idea about Cochins though.

Hi there! I live in Fife Quickcluck. Yes I have found some "Ooops, word censored!"ody - I phone the DTB Centre (who vaccinate and deliver) and they said they had several broods coming up and just to phone when the Cube is up and ready. Delivery is £85 to Fife though!

Eek, that's steep . There are quite a few Scottish Omleteers - one of them may know a breeder closer to home.

 

Why don't you start a new thread with something like "Cochin breeders in Scotland?" and you may get some responses. I don't know of any, I'm afraid .

Yep -was all set to order 2 partridge Cochins then discovered they don't deliver north of Preston. Quite a lot of Fife is north of Preston unfortunately.....

Or this looks a nice place to go (even if for a day out chicken watching) near Oban (we passed it when we were on holiday one year), they don't do cochins either but I reckon you should e mail them and ask......they might know someone who does
