bluekarin
It has only taken 4 nearly 5 months! It appears she has RSD:( I can't believe another of my children has a condition affecting them quite badly. My son had a perforated eardrum which grew back all wrong so had to have an op. Fingers crossed thats seems ok. YD has JIA (Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis) and with some strong medication which although won't make her better, has helped her walk without the incredible amount of pain. And now my ED has this RSD. Has anyone else on here experienced RSD or know of someone who has and has some advice . . . . . or anything about it really.
Janepie33
Glad your daughter has a diagnosis. Poor you, lots of different conditions to sort out with your children. Hope they all get better soon. Sorry I can't offer any advice.
Valkyrie
Sorry to hear about your news. On the brighter side at least it has been finally diagnosed. There is nothing worse than not ever knowing. It was years before my brother was told he had ME. He had gone through the fears of having a brain tumour with regard to headaches - they eventually scanned him and only that was done when he changed his doctor (the previous one wouldn't acknowledge ME existed at the time and said my brother was faking it). But the aches and pains continued. He had to do so many tests and they finally found that the pains in his joints (which he felt a slight relief when asking mum to "pull my arms") was caused by producing too much lactic acid. Once the ME was diagnosed he was able to cope and adjust. He is still floored when he gets a cold now, and he has learnt to recognise the warning signs and goes for a forty winks. But he has recovered quite well - only took about 30 years!
