4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

My cube was delivered today, went together very easily, just a couple of parts missing though, extension roof, feeders and sun shade, all will be delivered by Friday.

Do I really need chickens ?.... Our dog Harvey loves it.

Yes he is an OES, large male !!! as you can see we had a job to get him out, my husband had to go into the run to drag him out...also our daughter Lauren had to join in , she is so excited about getting the chickens.( even though she has left home)

It is such a shame that bits are missing I was missing a few bits too when mine was deliverd but Omlet were really good and I had the bits by first class post (small bits) with in 24hrs

OH is going to build an extended run before we get our chickens, thought that if Harvey gets used to the run etc. for a while when the chickens do actually arrive he will ignor them like he does the 10 or more rabbit visitors we have each day along with, squirrels,deer & various other wildlife ! here's hoping..

Select User Control Panel at the top of the screen (just under the Omlet logo). Then click Profile from the menu on the left. Then select Edit avatar from the same menu. Then in the main screen area either select an image that's already on your PC, or link to an image on the internet. Leave the size at 60 x 80 and press the Submit button. Job done!

My cube arrived on tuesday I was absolutely delighted as where my six girls . It was short lived does yours leak? I have gaps along the roof runs my fingers will fit in when the lid is closed and the nesting box is soaking wet every time it rains. I have taken it apart and put it back together agin and it is still leaking and I have followed the instructions to the letter any advice would be gratefully received

I experience the same and put it down to the fact I bought a "used" one. It does appear to have been fitted with a modification (sure have read similar on the forum).

 

My new purple cube (sadly returned) looked "different". Omlet weren't keen to assist with much when they ascertained it was previously owned ...

 

Would I buy 2nd hand again? probably not ...

 

Is the ground level?

Hi, yes my cube leaks in the same area, its a green cube also maybe they had a bad batch,I have emailed omlet with pics showing all it from angles.

OH has also checked all fittings over the weekend and i've just checked and it has re-filled with water since I dried it yesterday.Luckily I dont have any chickens yet...just as well.

Waiting to hear back from omlet at the moment.
