Drew and Alan
Hi everyone! We have 8 hens in total and so far about 90% of their eggs are double yolkers. When we used to buy eggs, they never had two yolks in them so we are wondering if this is normal? are we doing anything wrong? they seem happy and well fed!! thanks in advance for any advice!!! Helly Welly
Lucky you. We've only ever had one and no one who buys our eggs has ever reported one either.

Sammy
2 of my girls are also fairly regular double yolker providers. I don't know why this happens so I just put it down to good luck!
Space Chick
Show offs Double yolkers are more common when they come into lay apparently. My Rose occasionally lays a double yolker
