Guest
Did anyone see Midlands Today last night Some idiot had put a rare breed chicken into a bottle bank The poor thing had been there for 2/3 days It has been rescued and sent to a wildlife centre in Evesham. The only thing wrong with it luckily, was that it had lost some of it's tail feathers

Guest
I did email them last night Clare to say we would have it. We are looking to expand our flock. It would fit nicely into the eglu with Rose and Mickey
Paola
Poor thing. Hope it did not eat any broken glass. I cannot print what I would like to do to the person who did this

Guest
I don't think we will, I'm sure someone will claim it. It was a rare breed, but it didn't say what it was. We may go to Welshpool to collect a new hen at the weekend. The man who delivers my veg box has his eggs and chickens from there. It isn't too far from us and is a lovely place There is also a very nice steam railway near Welshpool, so I may be able to persuade Dan to go

Guest
Two would be good, we are in desperate need of eggs I hate shop bought ones even the best organic free range eggs are tasteless compared to one of our hens eggs
AnnieP
Oh two Debs, definately. You wouldn't want your two ganging up on a single one would you?
