Geoid
You can't get cramp in your little finger because there are no muscles in any of your fingers, only ligaments. Edited August 11, 2009 by Guest

Space Chick
Gosh, with the summer we've had you must have been irritable a lot
Valkyrie
You must be pressing on a nerve JJ. Sometimes when I played my clarinet, there's a rest that sits between your thumb, and I was often getting a jerky hand - very difficult to play when your fingers won't press onto the keys properly. Gosh, with the summer we've had you must have been irritable a lot
Scramble
Not really, I'm just 'not in the mood' today It was sunny....and then it wasn't. Yes....my clarinet does that too I find after playing for a while I can't use my tongue properly for a while The finger thing though... it's probably because I played the keyboard today. I guess I didn't do the finger stretches
Space Chick
My fingers used to have minds on their own when I played the oboe, they'd cramp up something chronic when I'd been playing for too long. I sometimes wake up with cramps in my fingers and it takes a few minutes for me to get the use back

Valkyrie
I did, but I couldn't get to grips with the oboe - just squeaked more than the clarinet did and boy, those tingling lips on both sides!

Valkyrie
Methinks it will be naughty - JJ will write in diddy letters. I originally thought they were funny little lines until I caught on!

Valkyrie
Well it's a good job I haven't got a drink in here what with the cold showers and the reeds. I can't answer that - it doesn't get put into practice that often.
