BeckyBoo
....as I've spent more time than ever rummaging around in the hedges and edges of fields and roads this year I've realised that I'm really not very good at recognising any of the trees around me. So I was faffing about on't computer last night and came across this website for anyone interested. It has loads of info including loads of folklore about each species, which I find fascinating. Anway, if you fancy a look.... http://www.british-trees.com/treeguide/ BeckyBoo
Patricia W
Great! Our neighbourhood has some lovely trees which are gradually being felled - sometimes for silly reasons. So we are forming a tree group. This will be very useful. Thanks BeckyBoo

Helly Welly
That's a great sight, i love the folklore about the trees. In January i made a cross of birch tied with red wool to ward off evil from crossing the threshold.
