...to lay an egg! She lost her title of "slacker" chicken today.

 

It's definitely pastel but I can't decide if I think it's light blue or light green?

That's OK, I probably should have explained further (and I'm no expert!).

 

An "Easter Egger" (EE) is often a slang term for a mixed breed Ameraucana or Araucana chicken.

 

"Perhaps 99 percent of chickens sold as Araucanas (or Ameraucanas) by commercial hatcheries are actually mongrels (aka Easter Egg chickens), meeting the requirements of neither breed."
