Heading out to the shops for a bit, will be seeing you later

To stop you being bored though: I've managed to loose the memory card for the camera...:anxious:

I took it out so I could upload the pictures and post them, but I've put it down somewhere and I don't know where it is :anxious:

Any ideas :?:

I lost one of our memory cards last year when we went to Lincoln. We were feeding a horse (as you do) and swapped the memory cards over but lost the first one!

I did ask but the horse denied all knowledge

The chicks are in the side passage and I opened the door so Matilda + Theodore could see them to see what they'd do.

Matilda ran away and started dust bathing  but Theodore walked in and they all just looked at each other for a minute or so, Fry (the cockerel) came over and tried to pinch some bread, but Theodore bwaaaaaaaaaarked at him and opened her wings to the floor and puffed out to make herself a bit big - so he ran away.

No fighting yet, but obviously they won't be together for a few more weeks/months :).

Now I have some time I will tell you about our 'exciting' camping holiday  We arrived on Monday, very pleased with the site, the couple running it were really lovely. We finally get to bed and DH and I have a double sleeping bag but single airbeds. His airbed went down so we were sleeping on different levels and neither of us could turn over without dragging the other one with them  We ended up getting up at 4am  so we admired the stars :D

Tuesday, had a lovely day, go to bed at 11pm - really tired so could get some good sleep and DS is up at midnight being sick  Thankfully he was fine in the morning.

Wednesday, went to The Big Sheep for the day, got back to camp and realised we needed to go shopping, get back in the car and it won't start - completely dead. Called the recovery people and car goes to garage.

Thursday, still laughing about the holiday from hell  stay on site - think nothing else can go wrong. I get stung on the leg by a wasp  felt a bit sick and shaky. Went down to see wheree the Dr's is, realise we've got no car  luckily Greg (campsite owner) jumps in his car and takes us, he could only get me and DH in car so had to leave DD (11) and DS (9) on site. His wife looks after them, they get to feed the horses and the goat, walk the dogs and play with the cat. I come home with more anti-histamines and steroid tablets.

Friday, we catch a taxi to Okehampton (to fetch the car) and while we are waiting, the heavens open, we are all ringing wet even with our waterproofs on :wall: Get to Okehampton and wait for garage to ring, finally pick up car, have to drive back to the campsite to fetch all our stuff and finally head home at 3.30pm.

Believe it or not we all loved the week and decided if we could put up with that then anything else would be a doddle  We are going to get our own tent and go camping 8) I cannot recommend this site enough! The Hole Station

It's in the middle of no-where but it's absolutely fab, and the couple who own it did much more than was necessary for us

Don't worry I am sure I will bore everyone with progress pics.

So you and Lewis voted for the final names. So far Ace is ace (interestingly) as seems to be the most interested in everything and seems to have a bit of bravery to her :D

We decided on their names by the order they came out of the crate, first was Barbara, second Polly and third Ace, as this was the order they were in the poll :)
