4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

I went in to change the nest box it has not been odne for ages as they are good girls and dont poo in it. top layer was dry but nder that it was soaked through I use newspaper and layers of auboise. I think there must be a leak somewhere. Will get OH to have a look at it but any suggestions to keeping it dry

I'd check that the cube is on level ground ( even a slight bump can make a difference or a different level front to back - so get your spirit level out!) and chack that the sides are as tight as they can be.

You may be right, will get OH to get the spirit level out when he comes in from work, he will thank you for that extra little job.

Just a thought -Are they sleeping in there? I found it a bit wet when they had drunk a lot and got wet poos

OH has looked at it and thinks that when weather is really bad water is getting in through gap at back of cube

 

Anyway he thinks he knows how to sort it.

 

Girls not sleeping in it so is rain coming in from wherever

Angling it slightly backward so that the water flows down the proper gulley may help.
