How Quickly Does Albendazole Work?

I've managed to get a leg ring on two of the Bufflings.....the third has such bright yellow legs the ring I had allocated for it wouldn't show up!!

 

Do the rings stretch as the babies legs get bigger, or will have to remove them and fit a bigger size...they are the flat band ones which wrap around the leg rather then the spring looking ones which my big girls wear.

You'll have to get bigger rings to replace them in a few weeks time.

Some of mine were easy to get off, but others I just carefully cut off as it was easier to do

I don't leg ring, I use blobs of food colouring or purple spray for identification purposes now Bridget Brahma was sporting purple feathers for a few weeks recently Now she's about ten foot taller than her sister Francesca so there's no need to re-apply

Perhaps that would be a better idea as I seem to have 2 that look the same and one odd one at the mo...a squirt of purple spray on one will be much less traumatic

a permenant marker would do as well or snip some feathers from one of their heads

The Diamond Doves don't have leg rings because they're tiny and I didn't really think about it, but now their chick has grown up she looks more like Judy so I cut a few of her tail feathers to make the normally round ended feathers flat, but I might get some food colouring or a marker pen on the inside of a flight feather so its normally hidden, but I know which one she is
