Ain't Nobody Here
You poor thing, no wonder you're furious . I wouldn't panic too much yet. This has happened to others on the forum and, from memory, the Inspectors come out, agree that the neighbours are making a fuss about nothing and tell you to keep things as clean and hygienic as you obviously are doing! I'm not sure if you can find out who complained but it might be worth asking. You want to find out exactly how they deem the smell and noise to be unacceptable . I'm pretty sure you won't be asked to get rid of your girls if you can prove you are taking reasonable precautions to keep them clean and quiet. Relax and enjoy the rest of your holiday . Snowy
First - don't panic! Environmental Health have to investigate any complaints, but they rarely follow them up! Obviously someone has complained - that is the most annoying thing, but contact the EHO, invite them round to see your sparkling eglu and fragrant girls. If they have any concerns the first thing they will do is give you advice on what to do to improve things. However, I think that they will be more than happy with your set up and you will hear no more about it.
CluckyBucks
Just relax, be confident and polite when/if they come round let them see for themselves, im sure your neighbors are just over reacting. Dont worry xx xx
sandyhas3chucks
poor you, how horrid! Must be very immediate neighbours if they think they can smell them!!!!!!! & i think on the noise front, it's sustained noise, you must have read hgow ard it is for people to get help with truly noisey neighbours. hard but try not to worry!
