Children!! (Beware ...... rant)

Recommended Posts

All 16 of mine sleep in bed with me, but we don't expect to be allowed to do that at other people's houses!

:lol: in a kindly way, please be assured, Solara.

I haven't a bed big enough :!:

You really made my day .... I'm still smiling :lol::lol:

I'm shocked that relatives don't even give you that level of polite behaviour.

It's difficult with steps. I find it difficult to remonstrate with them.

Heavens I'm still smiling at the picture my mind's eye has conjured

Here we are a few months ago. Not everyone is on the bed in this picture, there are "only" nine there.....but you get the idea.

There are crates in the room too, and two dog beds, and some of the gang do prefer those from time to time, but the prime spots are the ones on my bed.

OH sleeps in the lounge on the sofa....he says he prefers it!

Yes - I can remember all my children's names!

My current gang are from eldest (12) to youngest (4.5 months), Kenai, Volk, Lupus, Chara, Maigan, Onieda, Foxi, Tala, Frosty, Shibka, Sirius, Bilka, Altai, Vixen, Solara & Chorniy. I'm hoping for at least one more later in the year........

I do get a bit flattened at night, but having very little feeling in my legs is a distinct advantage - I don't really notice them lying on me unless they end up across my face, at which point whoever it is gets ejected fairly quickly.

Surely more a case of not room for him in bed with you and your mobile bed warmers  , crikey I find it difficult enough to sleep when DH decides (very rarely thankfully  ) that the 3 labs should sleep on the bed...........an extra 13 would have me sleeping on the sofa like your OH :anxious:

If we go & stay with anyone & take the girls...also a rare occurrence  ......the girls sleep in a kitchen/enclosed hall with Daisy in her cage as she is still occasionally a naughty girl.........I'm thinking of the regurgitated £20 note DH has got to send to the Bank of England to explain why we'd like a replacement  amongst other things :wall: . Usually they stay home with my parents as babysitters and we go away....we neverinflict our animals on unwilling hosts.

I know how you feel about the steps........I've got 3 of 31, 30 & 28......I find them very difficult, even now, especially if they are all together.....and there's only 7 years between the eldest and me which, until she had the baby & we now have loads more in common and I know more about something than she does, I found very difficult. Still I chose to marry a man with baggage, so I've had to accept it :anxious: ..through gritted teeth sometimes :?

hey

I'm really strict about dogs coming here we have cats and free range chickens and if they can't behave they don't come. Equally our dogs don't come out with us unless they are invited and then they obay the rules of the house they go to. i.e not on sofa etc. and they usually stay either on a lead or in arms reach the whole time.

i hate it when prople take over ones house like that even relatives. People can make themselves at home without disrupting everything
