Vix_Chicks
I read somewhere that putting garlic in their water helps to keep them healthy, so that's what I did. Came home today to find they had fished them out of the water and were devouring their way through them!! They were quite big cloves of garlic...will it harm them? lol
Space Chick
It shouldn't harm them, but could taint the taste of the eggs. Maybe give making cakes a miss for a few days I, and I know a few others on here, add a small amount of garlic powder to their food, might be an alternative to try
Falkor
Mine did that too. They came to no harm and we were vampire free for a good few days I recommend that you avoid chooky snuggles for a couple of days and switch to Garlic powder in their feed. Can be brought from horsey type shops or Omlet and not as strong as the real thing.
JanTheDiver
Mine did that too, my OH said we had better not do it again in case we end up with Chicken Kiev! I have found some garlic granules to put in their food and they loved them this morning, apparently you give it to horses too.
Biker Betty
I bought some garlic granules too - as they avoid anything with onion in usually I was sceptical as to whether they would like it or not. To my surprise, they love the new addition to their food and are gobbling it up. Their poo really smells garlicky now though! very anti-social! Penguin
We've tried garlic with them today and they seemed to enjoy the experience! Mind you, it makes your hands stink if you are holding the cloves...

They came to no harm and we were vampire free for a good few days Garlic powder in their feed is definately the way forward. No garlicky smell and no smelly poos either!
