i got it yesterday, but started reading it lastnight.

 

I don't read books,get bored just looking at them but i've managed to get to page 85 and still not bored of it!

Is it the same Charlie Higson as the "fast show" ?

 

If so, I hope his writing is better than his singing.

 

He was lead singer in a "forgotten 2tone band" called The Higsons.

It is that Charlie Higson - he also wrote the young James Bond books, which were fab.

My daughter is going with school to see Charlie Higson at an author event this Friday at the Reading Festival of Crime Writing.

 

She's read some 'Young Bond' books and I have to say that until this week I didn't realise he was the same chap from 'the Fast Show'.

 

She's going to take some money to buy this book on the day. Hope it will be good.

I finished this book about a week ago after your reccomendation, Raina.

I actually really enjoyed it, it was an easy read but very gripping. Any ideas were I can get similar books from, as I liked the story & plot etc.
