How much do I love my girlies?? Sooo much! They are soo funny!! They are all currently on my decking scoffing roast spuds - they keep knocking on the door for more! They are hysterical.Whenever I go into the garden,they only have to hear the door handle rattle and they all bomb down the garden to see what treats I have for them

The new girls are beginning to find their feet now and they are even running down the garden (albeit behind) with the others. I am so glad we got them,and the eggs are gorgeous!

Yep-I am gulity of being smitten too.

2 and 1/2 years later I am no better.

 

Constantly buying them treats, toys, finding new things for them to do, checking on them, standing outside watching them in their run even when they aren't really doing much, making them dinner every night

 

I have got worse since getting Kev the cockerel.

He is soooo funny to watch and has me in stitches. Plus, because he sleeps in the shed at night I go out to collect him and he jumps up on my arm or shoulder so I can walk him down the garden and he chats in my ear all the way.

 

The family often loose me only to find me sitting in the corner of the chicken run having 5 minutes peace and quiet

Oh I'm so jealous. I still don't have my ladies! Still waiting to hear when the next rescue

is at LHR. Still, gives us a bit more time to get the coop and run finished I guess.

I adore my girls too, thats why I had my football seats installed in the run, so that I could sit in there with them and talk to them
