susanb
Our chicken is off colour. not eating well, very listless, getting thin. Just been to vets - she has no idea. When we got home, there was a tiny poo in the carrier box - mostly water and grit but also about 3 inches of "pale yellow see through spaghetti." Does she have worms? any ideas? thanks
Sammy
Sounds like it to me. Would recommend Flubenvet, it fixed my girls. As I was told via my thread, your girls can have worms without you actually seeing them. Have a look at my thread - I think it's now on page 2 of the Chicken Clinic "Is this Worms - with Photo - Just got a whole lot worse" to see if it looks the same, as I posted a couple of pics, 1 with just 1 worm in the poo and then a horrible expulsion of worms after 2 days of treating my girls. If she's not looking well I would say she needs treating immediately.
susanb
thanks. Ours was more yellow then yours and looked quite slimy (I had originally thought it might be a yolk somehow, until by husband sorted through and we found it to be like spaghetti). I ordered flubenvet earlier today (before we saw the thing) so hopefully that will come tomorrow and we can make a start. (and keeping my fingers crossed we get nothing like yours!)
