Its a lovely colour Janty - many yrs ago all brides married in coloured dresses. The white theme I believe is fairly recnet. Can I ask why red as opposed to say blue, pink? Just interested - I was boring in ivory but still loved the dress, however I hired the dress just as well as I had 2 boys!! Also my mum was having chemo for breast cancer and I wanted to marry quick as I knew she wouldnt want to be in a wheelchair like her friend who also died of breast cancer and was in a chair for her daughters wedding.

Strongly recommend hiring - it was the second dress I tried on and I said "this is it". I want to renew my vows sometime.

I love red. It was always going to be red.

 

 

When I went to the designers, they had various bodices, skirts, etc to mix and match to get the idea of what you wanted. I saw black and purple dresses and fell in love with them too.

 

Hence purple next time.

that Vivienne Westwood dress is divine - you looked lovely in red too- am all for multiple wedding celebrations, especially if you get to wear fab dresses like that - mine is similar but green and am dying to have an opportunity to wear it again.
