Present Idea Help, Again!

Recommended Posts

I now have to buy a birthday present for my niece (the daughter of SIL who has everything). She is 15 and has just about everything. Lives in London, well off and 'sophisticated':roll: Don't want to spend more than £20 as the gift could well be put in a drawer  I was thinking of getting a 6 month magazine subscription to something like 'More' or 'Look' which I know my 13 year old would love. Any tips or ideas?

15 is such a tricky age....would you get away with a charity type present..you know the sort of thing.....Oxfam do loads...at least she couldn't grumble about it?...

If not a magazine is good but still quite a difficult choice because it's personal.. You say she is sophisticated...does this extend to Costa after school ? ( my DD and her chums lived there permanently from year 10 onwards) ...and for several friends of that age we put the money on a Costa gift card/credit card thing...

Or how about a Ticketmaster gift card which she could put towards going to see a favourite band...

If all else fails does she have a lovelinks type bracelet you could buy a charm for?

Sorry nothing very original I know..but asuch a difficult age...they are soooo much older than we were at 15 (well certainly than I was at that age anyway) :(

My daughter is 18, so just a bit older which might be a good thing. She and her pals think that everything from Jack Wills is just great :D Personally I think it is overpriced and not that wonderful, but that may be part of the appeal :?: They have an on-line shop if you haven't got a store near you.

How about some nail varnish from Nails Inc. They do all the latest colours and have a set inspired by "The Hills" Tv programme on MTV. I've bought that for my neice for Christmas (she asked for that). Colours are really good, might just have to get myself a set as well :D:D
