Purplemaniacs
I am sure someone will know the answer. The other day DD mentioned getting some guinea pigs in the spring for her two girls (children not chickens ). Is the guinea pig eglu the same basic design as the chicken one but with a different base? In the future, thinking ahead here, can you convert it so that it can be used for chickens? Does anyone have any views on the eglu as a guinea pig home? Is the rabbit one the same but with a longer run? Thanks Chrissie

Not yet, I've bought a base to attach to my once the Bufflings move on or into the big run Is the rabbit one the same but with a longer run? Yes I think so Thanks Chrissie Hope this helps to a small degree, I am planning to get DD a couple of piggies once the is vacant..........I think DH is working on the theory that if there's another inhabitant, I won't get any more chooks that's what he thinks!!! Egluntyne
Have a look at the Omlet website. **Clicky thing**
Purplemaniacs
Thanks Egluntyne I had looked but I wanted to check my understanding was correct. The rabbit and guinea pig eglus are the same but with different length runs and then in the future it could be converted for chickens. I like to plan ahead Grandaughter likes pink so I will keep an eye on ebay, may be lucky before the spring comes around. Chrissie
