AJuff
With you helpful pointers to some knitting flower websites I have found some excellent flower patterns and have knitted some up. Silly question but how do I attach a pin to them to make them into a brooch? Is there a special type of brooch pin or do I just use a safety pin? Ygerna
You can get brooch pins, I saw some in John Lewis, in their craft secion. There are a couple of types, but, one sort has two holes in which you could use to sew the fabric onto. HTH

ubereglu
You can use normal safety pins too, just stitch them on and cover up your stitches by gluing/sewing on a piece of felt.
Snowy
If you stitch a small circle of felt to the back of your flower it stabilises the design and the brooch pin can then be attached to that.
