Bleeeeugh! My OH has just come in saying he thinks he's seen a worm in some of the chicken poop I have some Flubenvet on order. Thing I'm worried about is that I gave a box of eggs to each of my neighbours. What should I do?? I can't go round all sheepish asking for them back!!! Will the eggs have worms in?? OH says hat can't happen? Help!!! Freakin out here!!! HELP!!!

It's extremely rare to find a worm in an egg so I'd keep quiet if I was you. Afterall, you don't want to put them off eggs for life lol!!

I agree with Jools. I hardly think even these large scale producers of eggs are so vigilant on worming as some omleteers are and I've never found a worm in a shop bought egg so I would keep and not worry.

I think they have to be pretty heavily infested for that to happen.

Worms infest the digestive tract, not the reproductive tract, so it would be very unlikely that there are worms in the eggs.

Worms in eggs are rare so I wouldn't worry too much. If you are actually seeing worms in poo though it does mean that you have got quite a dose. You may want to worm again in 3-4 weeks to make sure that you clear everything. You can then go on to the standard 3-4 months.
