Farmville

Recommended Posts

You'll find it here :) .

It works best on a rectangle or square. It can take a bit of getting used to and occasionally it doesn't work 100%, but I found it worth persevering with. It saves loads of time and clicking!

Tips for when you start out:

~ set your grid up by putting the appropriate number of squares in and using the corners to drag the grid to fit.

~ you move the grid by click/hold/dragging the blue bar at the top. You don't have to be too accurate lining it up, just near enough.

~ you can use it with farm vehicles (but it uses fuel) or just with clicks, but that obviously takes longer.

~ click on the vehicle then on the Gridclicker tab below your browser. The marketplace will pop up if you use the seeder.

~ click on any squares within the grid you don't want harvested (like where your farmer stands).

~ you have to watch the first stage, firstly because the mouse is in use but also to see that it's caught all the squares. Occasionally it'll miss some and you have to click them yourself.

~ occasionally, the shaded Gridclicker page will pop up over your farm and the clicking will stop. I don't know why it does this :? . You can just press "send clicks" again and it should go over it all again. If there are only a few missed out, it's quicker just to click them yourself.

~ once you've seen the first stage completed, you can let it get on with harvesting/ploughing/planting. You can do other stuff on your farm or go to a different tab on your browser, it will continue without you.

~ watch out for squares on the periphery of your fields, sometimes Gridclicker will plough them if there's no animals/trees/etc there. If you see that happening, just put a haybale or some logs in that spot!

~ to move from Gridclicker to your farm, just click somewhere on the farm or on the FV tab above it.

~ it works best if you're planting your whole farm with one crop. If you like different crops, you could change the size of your grid each time to suit where you want it to work (although you don't have to, it'll just skim over the bits it can't harvest/plough).

If you have any teething troubles, just ask :D .

:wall: Weird things happening to my farm tonight. I found my library had been ploughed over  So I deleted those plots as they were hanging in the air  Then I found some of my green tea had been deleted and those plots ploughed. I replaced those with poppies. Now there's corn missing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm running away before it gets any worse!!!!!!!!
