How Quickly Does Albendazole Work?

One of my ex battery girls has recently starteed to brake and eat her own egg have ignored the problem for the last week now but am getting fed up with the nesting area getting mucky every day please help

Are the eggs fragile? You could try limestone flour and cod liver oil?

My girlies have this habit, however they don't break them when they have just laid them, they wait until i go and collect them and then thy jump on me to try and eat them, they succeed occasionally even though the eggs are solid.

Rollaway nest boxes? Don't know if they'd fit an eglu or cube, but maybe worth a thought?

Try putting a few golf balls in the nest - the hens get a shock when they try to crack it open! Worked for me for a while, although we also seem to have a broken eggs (or at least mucky straw) in the nest every day...
