Dappy Chick
Has anyone had any dealings with this website. I purchased something from them on 29th Oct expecting delivery in 24-48 hours by UPS. Still no delivery & when I check my account status it just says "In Progress" They took the money from my Credit card on 30th October???? There is no phone number on the website for them & if you email them all you get is an Auto reply saying they will get back to you in 24-72 hours. I am now approaching 56 hours and still no response Any suggestions anyone?
Space Chick
I would give them the 72hrs and if you haven't heard I would email them again and say that if they do not respond within 24hrs you will be contacting your credit card company for a dispute. PurpleTree
I've never heard of them, but in the Frequently Asked Questions part of the website, it says this How long is delivery? Once your order is placed and verified it will ship out within 3-4 working days. You should receive your order within 5 working days of shipment. Occasionally, a shipment may take longer due to situations such as unforseen demand and you will be notified and have the opportunity to cancel your order prior to shipment. What does the status of my order mean? In process: Your order has been received and is being reviewed. This status may also mean the product may not be in stock and your order may be delayed. Not complete, second chance: Your order did not go through and you were not charged for the product. If you do want the product you would need to place the order again. Sent to warehouse: This means your order is being packaged for delivery. Left warehouse: This means your order has left our warehouse and is on its way to you. You should receive it within 5 working days. Don't know if that's of any help at all

Don't know if that's of any help at all Thanks They have had it "In Process" for 5 working days now & I know they have got the money because they have taken it from credit card. I would have ordered it from someone else if I had known they would take this long - Looks like I am going to have to go and buy it from somewhere else and then fight for my money back from these people! Dappy Chick
It is coming from the US, so may take a while, normally a week or two... Unfortunately it looks like it - I thought with a website that was co.uk it would be UK but obviously not and I paid in £ not $ Just so fustrating - it is software for my work computer and am desperate for it
Dappy Chick
Now I am really winding myself up! Just been back on their website & they say "Usually despatched with 24-48 hours" on the item I have brought AND they are showing as having 24 in stock - I would never have ordered this with them if I thought it would take this long. Looked back at my history and my order is STILL showing as "In Process"

Old Speckled Hen
If you put bitesizedeals scam into google there's lots of worrying stuff. I haven't had dealings with this lot but somebody similar who set up a recurring debit on the debit card I used for an initial order. The only way I could cancel was by phoning some number in the USA that never answered. I ended up canceling my debit card and getting a new one re issued. So much bother as lots of other regular payments had to be updated. It taught me a valuable lesson. ALWAYS check out a website if it is unfamiliar. I would get straight on to your card provider. I hope you get it sorted.
Guest
I'd get onto your card company ASAP that website is very poorly written and designed, it makes some rather spurious claims about it's prices (I saw one item out of 2 I browsed for cheaper on Play.com) AND it sends from the US. Which may mean your item gets caught in customs and you are subject to an extra bill! As they are difficult to contact start a claim straight away. Chucky Mama
They shouldn't take funds until they have posted the goods, so that isn't on if they have taken the cash without posting it. Plus any reputable website should have a phone number where you can speak to a real person. This link gives company information on bitesizedeals.co.uk: http://webwhois.nic.uk/cgi-bin/whois.cgi?query=Bitesizedeals.co.uk&WHOIS+Submit.x=45&WHOIS+Submit.y=
