Got home tonight and in the cat loo box with the newbies was... Pitsilatha's first egg . Had to transfer them in with the others before we could get at it.

 

It's a whopping 65g Biggest first egg we've had!

 

Here's the pictures. Beautiful speckled egg, although the speckles are WHITE on brown rather than darker brown on brown.

We were expecting the speckles to be darker than the main colour. They're very subtle aren't they?

 

No egg today, but she was ace yesterday & it IS her first!

 

Aspro's wattles are getting larger & redder now, although her comb is still pink & looks like bound up fingers. She isn't crouching yet so think over all she is a bit younger. Still more exciting that way ... patience, patience!
