Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Hi,

 

We are trying to finish off our chicken breeds section of the website: http://www.omlet.co.uk/breeds/breeds.php?breed_type=Chickens . However, we are short of a few photographs of some of the breeds. We are missing:

 

Cream Legbar

Delaware - this is really rare

Gold Legbar

Rhodebar

Speckledy

Sultan - This is quite rare.

Welbar

 

Does anyone have any of these chickens which you could photograph for us. We would be happy to reward the photographer for each photograph used with a £10 good egg scheme voucher and also make your chicken famous!

 

The photographs would have to be taken on a clean background (like a sheet) so that we can chicken can be cut-out. If you think that you might be able to help, please could you email james@omlet.co.uk.

Well I've got a speckledy and a cream legbar but I think all you'd see of mine is a blur of feathers as they legged it for freedom - not the tamest of birds my legbar!

Same here with my CL and my speckeldy is currently moulting so has no tail

I'm not quite sure what Poppy (on the right) is . If you reckon she's a Speckeldy, I'm happy to have a go a photographing her!

ANH I also have a speckledy that looks exactly like that (but rather shabbier ). I also have one that looks just like a maran complete with feathery feet, but I think she is the exception

After a little footbath and a good shake to get rid of all that dustbathing dust and Hemcore (all over the kitchen ), Poppy was ready for her first photoshoot ......

ANH very smart but one question how did you get her to stand still long enough to take the photo

My son is just out of shot and kept putting her back in place. I was lying on the floor with the camera .

I've spent the last 45 mins trying to get a legbar to go on the sheet I'm useing with out success took 3 photos might have one
