Joojoo
Is anyone going to this at the NEC next week? Ash and I are going on Saturday and we're really looking for to it. We went to Gardeners World in the summer and ended up spending more time in the halls where the Summer Good Food Show was on - at the tasting sessions Anyway, just been having a mooch at some of the exhibitors and there is a company there selling these http://www.thatwineismine.com/ How gorgeous are they? I shall be buying a couple as Christmas presents I think.
Space Chick
Those wine charms are fab, I saw them in a cookery store in Spain last year, and really regretted not getting them.

sunshinesupernova
Good Food Show is fab. I've been 5 years in a row - but not last year nor this. My little one has just turned one year old and taking a buggy there would be hell for him and hell for us. No local babysitters - so jsut need to wait a few years. Make sure and take PLENTY of money - and don't forget to use th shop and drop !
chickencam
We took our youngest when she was 4 and a bit too old for a buggy, but we took a folding one because we would be doing loads of walking, and it was great for piling all the goodies onto. One stall was selling hard cheese like parmesan and they gave her a plastic cup full of shavings and it kept her quiet for ages A couple of years later we went on the train and New Street station was evacuated in a bomb scare, we had to spend a fortune on a taxi to the NEC, but at least the train had been really cheap booked in adavance. I then subscribed to BBC Good Food mag and had to carry the free gift of a heavy Le Crueset lasagna dish home on the train with loads of other stuff and 3 children in tow. We haven't been since, there are plenty of small food fairs around now to keep us happy Have fun and remember to buy a wine tasting glass
