Chocolate slabs

Recommended Posts

I think you can get any quality of chocolate. G &B do a cooking chocolate, but it is expensive. If you aren't cooking with it, you just want to melt and reset it, then I would've thought any good quality chocolate would work. I've bought some of those giant blocks of cadbury's for the boys to melt down and pour into moulds to make christmas shapes. :D

I f you want cheap stuff that tastes ok and have a Morrisons near by they sell value dark chocolate at 26p a bar, they also do a milk and a fruit and nut. It is surprisingly nice and we now use it in all of our chocolate cooking, and OH and ED eat the stuff by the bucket load

We have made Nigella's Rocky Road with it and it was yummy.
