laurmurf
Dear Yank chook-lovers, a late-ish but very happy thanksgiving to you/us all! Much to be thankful for, as Mark's timely posting showed us (thanks Angels4!) I have a major craving for pumpkin pie but will have to settle for a digestive biscuit.... not quite the same, is it? laurmurf
since my thanksgiving dinner this year was a cold finger food buffet at a governors' conference (complete with real fingers) I think we'll all have to enjoy a virtual thanksgiving dinner. So, Tasha, can I help you to some: Turkey - leg or breast? cranberry sauce sage and chestnut stuffing sweet potatoes (with toasted marshmallows on top, of course) roast potatoes and mash creamed corn and corn on the cob pearl onions in cream sauce lashings of gravy...... followed by - pumpkin pie, apple pie, pecan pie, lime chiffon pie and, sandwiches after the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade

Angels4
Thanks Laurie, all that food sounds GRAND....2 types of potato and 2 types of corn. I took an apple and 4 berry pie to visit my auntie in the hospital and she is looking great. Gave us quite a scare this past week but everything is looking good.
