Chicken bald back

hello everyone, we presently have a chicken house and a homemade run, however to clean the house out we need to remove the try out of the bottom of the house and now due to my partners disability we need to get a house that is more user friendly. Can anyone recommend a company that does houses/runs where you can have a tray to pull out but is higher up than at ground level.

A cube sounds like just what you need .

I would say a cube - or mabe have your current house raised if you dont want to be spending out. And then jus have a elevated platform with one going to the floor and then up into the house for the chickens - thenb u can pull the tray out at just below waist height - tbh i have a coop with a pull out tray and i tihnk its ridiculous - whne you pull itr out it gets jammed and then the wood shavings clumped up the side fall underneath and if that isnt bad enough - get a gust of wind and the wood haavings fly out the tray as ur emptying it

If your homemade run is tall enough, you could put an eglu onto a table (see my signature ). Perhaps a new walk in run is called for .

Matt makes the most wonderful sturdy houses out of proper thick wood and I am sure he will be able to accomodate your requirements; if you speak to him you will realise that he is quite young but dont let put you off the finsh of his coops and his professionalism puts some more established companies to shame, he is based not far from the M42 in Worcestershire

Looked at this site - might buy myself a new coop - thought that i could do something good with a cheap coop off ebay but its not working out jus a shame he doesnt show pictures for every coop he makes because i would probably buy one right now if i saw what it looked like lol
