Muvver hen Posted December 14, 2009 Share Posted December 14, 2009 Some of you will remember that i had a single chick survive a hatch in the summer,well update!!!Lonely is a HEN,had my first egg from her yesterday.The 2 silkie chicks that i bought in as companions for her unfortunatly are both cock birds,so will have to go soon.I would like to get another light sussex hen as a companion for her,i live in southampton,so does anyone know where i can get one of around 24 weeks? New year should be a good time,i have a friend who lives near there in Ropley so will visit if i can and will let you know what the place is like.I really like the look of the bantams too.
