Once again Daisy has laid another lovely egg this one came around 10.30 this morning.. it was lovely & warm Anyway, we've just been out to give them some nice warm pasta AND... we have another in the nest box! We think this one belongs to our Light Sussex, Custard. This too will be Custard's first So that's now 3 in two days! chickenNutter Posted December 21, 2009 Share Posted December 21, 2009 What a clever girl. My Pekin, Hetty, who isn't a Pekin (not sure what she is) laid for the first time about 2 weeks ago. It was my very first egg at all and it was a very special moment. She is now laying one every other day, and occasionally 2 days together, but Ruby the Welsummer and Mabel the Frizzle (the same age) just aren't getting the idea.
