Wanted: omlet eglu classic + run 🙏

Hi, the eglu arrived a day early. woo hoo.

 

I had to take the front off it to fit it in the cat run (accomodation while I build a new walk in run) and some sawdust fell out. It was reconditioned and they hadn't cleaned that bit. I phoned and they apologised so that's okay.

 

The chooks loved it! Lavender went straight in and into the nest area as I thought she would. It was quite funny cos she was tripping over the roosting bars. She's never had them before. Then she made very happy, contented clucking noises. I've shut the door for now. I'm thinking of opening it before I go to bed so they can get up up when they want to, but I'm not sure as the door opening is larger than the cat flap.

 

It takes up a lot of room, but no floorspace is lost.

 

Also received the all weather shade, a new winter shade (I think - square one) and an unpackaged winter shade. bonus!

 

What's this ere then?

Love it, the lavender def looks very very comfy! Well done doing that today, I was Freeeeeezing then left thinking hmmm perhaps I should have offered to help and then felt guilty, sorry x
