tara Posted December 27, 2009 Share Posted December 27, 2009 I have 8 chooks and 7 ducks calls and runners.I have the omlet feeding bowls all around the run as well as the glugs plus dog bowls with water in them.I change the waters daily as the ducks drink loads plus make them dirty.When l go on holiday my mum looks after them but l want to try and make it less work for my mum as she said there alot of work for her.I thought about a big drinker that holds litres of water were the ducks and chooks can share it while im away this would be with the other bowls just so l know they will always have enough as mum is getting forgetful to top the water up.Do any of you use a big drinkesr that holds litres rather then just pints.We are going away in april am im worrying already Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They're great though they still freeze up as does the feeder tube this weather. If you don't have room for a water butt you could connect it to the mains if you have an outdoor tap.
