I don't have a compost heap and don't really have the need for one either so I bag the poo up and put it in the garden waste bin. Only thing is, is that when we got back home today after some post chrimbo shopping, the whole street stinks. I don't think it will be long till the neighbors realise what the smell is! chelsea Posted December 29, 2009 Share Posted December 29, 2009 Ours goes in the green garden waste bin, because we use aubiose in the run it tends to coat the poos so you don't smell it. When we clear out the whole run OH bags all the run waste in a dumpy bag and takes it to our local allotment/recycling point. cavs cats n chicks Posted December 29, 2009 Share Posted December 29, 2009 I have a black compost bin, quite small and I put poo, straw and ve peelings in there, it has a door at the bottom to remove compost, which I use in my pots.
