I believe this is what today is called - so best wishes to everyone going back to work or school. Thanks to all those, esp police, nurses, firemen, paramedics, shop staff ( the list is endless) who worked all through the holiday.

I dont mind going back so long as weather remains ok. we have frost which is better than those of you in Scotland struggling thro mounds of snow. But London grinds to a halt if we have one flake. I also dnt like driving in snow as we have so many hills in the suburbs here - have to take 2 buses. Anyway enjoy work and school folks

Working from home today, which breaks me in gently, but it is a horrid feeling. a small part of me does like getting back into the normal routine again though.

 

One thing that is light at the end of the tunnel is that the days are noticeably drawing out already - hoorah!

I worked all over Christmas but have this whole week off!

Yes I am working at home today too and manged to get out of bed this morning - no idea how....

The kids don't go back to school until tomorrow so we're enjoying our last lazy morning. I've still worked the same hours over Christmas so nothing much changed for me there.

the school are closed here due to snow ice and freezing conditions this morning it was -14 on the car tempretrure gage soooooo cold was so worryed bout chooks but they were all huddled together warmas toast while i froze trying to defrost their water and do their food i'm sure they where laughing at me but there was no way they were coming out wise chooks i say. this cold weather is supposed to be around for another 15 days roll on spring
