Looney
Since getting the chickens people have been donating chickenalia to me which is great however someone has given my boyfriend a tie (second hand) that has cockerels on it..... ...very kind but..... ....he will never wear it! He has asked me to see if anyone else wants it, otherwise we will give it to a charity shop. The label says it is 100% silk (hand made in Italy) and the designer is Nazareno Gabrielli. FREE to a good home! We won't even charge for postage (OH has plenty of stamps from work!)

Popcorn
I hope he'll be fashioning this at the next meet Lesley! We want photographic evidence!! Your only problem now is finding a shirt to match. How does Carl look in cherry red or canary yellow What a great tie. If carl turns his nose up, pass it onto Darren! Lesley
I'm sure he will like it - he just doesn't know yet! He only wears white shirts so I guess it will go - I will get photographic evidence for you but you willnever see him wearing it to a get-together - he doesn't 'do' shaving or shirts at the weekends Carl told me off for making him shave before we last visited Kate - because her LSH doesn't shave at weekends either
Popcorn
He could go all rock and roll at the next get together Lesley. T-shirt, tie and unshaven with his jacket slumped off his shoulder
Lesley
but that's what he looks like most weekends Gina
Guest
MY DH would love a tie like that. I wonder where it came from - I might do a search! DH always shaves, he doesn't like the feel of unshaven - and neither do I! He has always worn a suit and tie for work and looks great like that. But his current job is in cool and trendy London where jeans and T-shirt is the expected attire. It was a bit strange at first but we've got used to it now. I just don't see him in a suit so often anymore Always on a Sunday though!
Popcorn
but that's what he looks like most weekends Gina I can see him now Lesley! Ginette, my OH wears smart attire for work too. He's a teacher. He looks lovely when he goes out the door in the morning. He looks completely different when he walks back through it at 6pm - a bit like Carl at the weekends! The Dogmother
Phil can scrub up really well when he wants to, but working from home, he just slobs most of the time. I quite like a bit of unshaven cheek though - nice and rough This reminds me of when I worked for a web development company, we had a black tie do one Christmas. One of the directors (a bit of a biker) came in black tie... with a holey white T shirt, black leather biker trousers and jacket. It suited him actually
Popcorn
brilliant Clare. I must confess there were the odd times when I worked from home, I stayed in my PJ's all day. How terrible is that

Popcorn
It took me a while to work out that BF = Best friend. I was thinking Boyfriend I knew that wasn't right. Oh Jackie - I am SO excited for you. I lived in my pj's for ages afterwards. I always kept a fresh pair washed. I'd like to have ironed them, but the urge never took me for some reason
