fluffyknickers Posted January 12, 2010 Share Posted January 12, 2010 A friend of my family (who has very recently been through an awful time with her daughter having a brain tumour, husband getting cancer and dying and more) before christmas fell out her daughter's car and was in a lot of pain. She went to the hospital as was in pain in her hips and arm, they x rayed her and said it was bad bruising and sprains. She was pleased as was just about to fly to Canada for Christmas and New year. They said that was fine and to keep taking the painkillers. While she was away she was in a huge amount of pain but kept taking strong pain killers and flew home. Went back to hospital as still painful and they x rayed her again and realised they made a MISTAKE and she has a broken hip AND arm. Has had an operation on both and in plaster laying in hospital.
