Eglu Cube Coop and Accessories

Hi. This is one for the pekin owners amongst us! None of mine are laying yet. They hatched last April. Has anyone got a pekin that's laying at the moment? I've noticed that mine get up quite late!!! And often spend time in the coop during the day so don't think they're desperate for their daylight hours. Do they normally lay from Feb to Oct ish or will it be March?

One have mine have just started up and she will probably lay until October/November as she did last year

My mottled has been laying for 3/4 weeks now, and lays almost every day, the millefleur is slightly younger.

One of mine crouched the other day. I wasn't expecting it at all!

Mercedes was missing today for a while - and OH found 3 eggs - one silkie, one Maran and a little torpedo, so one's up and running.

There was a tiny egg in the Pekin's run this morning! 2 of them are crouching so no idea who laid it.

Mine haven't laid yet and they are 30 - 40 weeks both have ruddy red combs, no squatting yet though... come on girls lay a little egg for my tea!

 

What colour do they lay, I've not had Pekin's before?

All 9 of mine have started up again and the Cockerel is interested in his ladies again

My little one is a creamy colour.
