My Friend bought this exact one from eBay, it arrived with a few s"Ooops, word censored!"es but nothing major then when he looked inside the coop the whole floor was smashed! They wouldn't refund him

Speak to Matt_P on Bluelaced forum, he makes a good coop and will do to your own design but will certainly be more expensive but maybe not as much as you'd think

I have one of their 'Berkeley' houses and also their 'Garden Ark'. Both are fantastic quality, worth the money and the company was fantastic to deal with. They do 3 runs like the one you want, all different sizes and prices etc.

Oh yes Tom, they're not far from me and were very helpful when I had questions. I nearly bought one of theirs from their Ebay shop (http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/thechickenhousecompany/) - Chinese imports but the similar one we bought (somewhere else though, as the wood was thicker tongue & groove!) was perfectly usable, stronger than I expected actually.

Good point Sandy! We wedged our compost bin up against the nest box so nothing could get in (including me, until I figured out the latch!). There's no moving the compost bin now as it's really heavy and full to the brim with... well, you know

Sandy, neither my husband or me are very 'handy', so we couldn't build one ourselves. Wouldn't have a clue where to start!

The thing is sandy that my current coop has a run attached, so its not suitable for just putting in a WIR IYSWIM? If I just get a WIR, I also have to buy another coop (the set up I have is a 'cottage' style coop and run in one, so like the linked item but much smaller). I was wondering about this type because it would be cheaper than buying two items, but it would be a false economy I feel I am in negotiations with mattp now, and hopefully will be able to get something bespoke

I realised that when I vissitted your blog. , it is tough, I have a WIR with 3 Eglus.

Started with a small WIR with 2 extended it and had 3rd These wooden ones are hard to judge by photos, best to get something recommended good luck x
